Storyteller * Teacher * Writer

As a lively, passionate and thought-provoking storyteller, Beverly Comer, has engaged audiences of varying ages since 1990. Her spirited interactions and creatively told stories have captivated the attention of toddlers at a child care center. . . all the way to the hugs and smiles of the participants at a senior center.

Combining the knowledge of a teacher along with her artful storytelling ability, Beverly will aim to meet the needs of your group. Whether its education, entertainment, literacy, Ohio Academic Content Standards, cultural arts enrichment,  or fun (or any combination thereof), contact her about your goals.

Telling a wide variety of stories - Beverly's imaginative performances may include her original stories, folktales, fairytales, stories from around the world, puppet stories, legends, ghost stories, poetry, musical stories, traditional tales and more.

"Beverly has been our special storyteller at Moores Park School for at least 10 years. We love her! Once you've heard her presentation, you'll request her year after year."

-Ava Fobbs, Teacher, Moores Park Elementary School, Lansing, Michigan

"Walk in a room where Professional Storyteller Beverly Comer is and soon you are transported to a land where children laugh, adults wonder, and we all learn to be kids again. At the same time she can help you to remember the joy of growing up. That is part of her magic - to be able to find the right tale for the right time & audience and share it with us all."

- Dr. Kevin Cordi Ph.D., Voices Across America Youth Storytelling Director

"The stories and songs that you shared with the children were fabulous! I watched as they listened with rapt attention. . . Thank you for sharing your talent and obvious love of stories and fun with the children of the Jamestown Community."

-Terri Vest, Reference Associate, Jamestown Community Library, Jamestown, Ohio
